This spring, we could all use more time with family and friends to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Whether you’re celebrating Easter, Passover, or just the return of nice weather this spring in Chicago, these restaurants are offering special meals and holiday dishes.

Here are some Chicago spots for Easter and Passover specials this year.

Passover specials

Aba: This Mediterranean hot spot will be offering a special traditional menu, including parmesan, potato and brussels sprout latkes, pan-roasted halibut with baby turnips, and more. The Passover menu is $54.95 per person and is available for dine-in, carryout, and delivery.

Soul & Smoke: This barbecue spot in Avondale will be serving a Passover package for reheating at home, including smoked beef brisket, glazed carrots, and potato kugel.

The Bagel: In Lakeview, this deli is serving a traditional Passover dinner for dine-in customers. Try their famous gefilte fish with horseradish, roasted spring chicken, broiled white fish, coconut macaroons, and more.

Beatrix: The health-focused spot is offering a Passover to-go menu for $52.95 per person, served cold with reheating instructions for carryout and delivery from Beatrix in River North, Streeterville, and Fulton Market. The menu includes homemade matzo crackers, chopped liver, and more.

Jeff & Judes: This “Jew-ish” deli in Humboldt Park will be doing a classic Seder dinner menu for the first night of Passover as well as selling Seder plates, offering matzo sandwich substitutions, and macaroons all week.

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab: Joe’s Seafood is offering a prix-fixe holiday menu of traditional favorites such as gefilte fish with red beet horseradish. Passover dinner is $64.95 per person, and $29.95 for children aged 12 and under. The menu will be available for dine-in and carryout. 

Roast beef sandwich from Manny's Deli in Chicago

Manny’s Deli: An iconic Chicago institution, Manny’s is offering their famous roasted brisket, matzo ball soup, matzo kugel, gifelte fish, and kishke. They’ll also have some amazing Passover sweets. They include macaroons, matzo toffee, and flourless chocolate cake. All items are made in house.

Steingold’s: Stock up on matzo ball soup, whitefish salad, smoked lox, corned beef, and other favorites at this beloved deli in Lakeview.

RPM Steak: The steakhouse is offering a holiday dinner for two that includes traditional favorites such as matzo ball soup, Midwest prime brisket, carrot tzimmes, potato kugel, and housemade flourless chocolate cake. The Passover dinner for two is $165 and is available for carryout only. 

Osteria Via Stato: The Italian restaurant is offering traditional Passover favorites for dine-in, carryout, and delivery. Enjoy a la carte specials including matzo ball soup, slow-braised beef short rib, chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons, and more.

The Goddess And Grocer: This local chain will be serving special Easter and Passover menus filled with festive classics and delicious new favorites. They’ll be offering a $75 Sedar dinner. Choose a la carte menu highlights like braised beef brisket. 

Easter brunch & dinner

Prime & Provisions: Head to the Loop for this annual over-the-top Easter brunch. Enjoy a full-service buffet-style brunch, roasted prime rib carving stations, a raw bar consisting of shrimp, oysters, and crab legs, and more. The grand brunch is $85 for adults and $25 for children.

Pearl’s Place: A Bronzeville classic, Pearl’s Place will be dishing up Southern-style comfort food from their menu and famous buffet.

Cafe Selmarie: The Lincoln Square neighborhood restaurant and bakery will be offering Easter and Passover bakery specials. Brunch will be served on Easter Sunday, no reservations required.

Carnivale: Fulton Market’s Latin-inspired restaurant will be celebrating Easter with a tapas brunch. Visit with the Easter bunny and enjoy a special brunch featuring savory and sweet selections such as ropa vieja, aji amarillo, and french toast with key lime custard.

Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk: Sample Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio’s special menu this Easter, featuring some of his favorite ingredients like peekytoe crab, agnolotti, and Rohan duck. Dishes can be served with a wine pairing, curated by Cooper’s Hawk master sommelier.

ETA Restaurant + Bar: The newly launched breakfast/brunch menu will be featured, and diners will be able to meet the Easter bunny at this Gold Coast spot inside the Loews Hotel.

Etta: Break your lent promises with a spring-inspired pre-fixe brunch at inviting hotspot etta. In both Bucktown and River North, brunch includes an array of starters shared amongst the table for $65 for adults and $25 for children.

Formento’s: The West Loop Italian restaurant will have special offerings like milk braised lamb hash, bucatini cacio e pepe, carbonara, or stuffed french toast. The prix fixe is $34 per adult and $10 per kid.

Maple & Ash: For those looking to celebrate in style, the Gold Coast’s always-bumping see-and-be-seen steakhouse is turning Easter festivities into a daylong affair. For $75, enjoy brunch favorites marked with M&A’s signature elevated touch.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House: Located in the heart of the loop, this steakhouse will be serving a selection of spring-inspired Easter brunch specials such as fried chicken and waffles with Sriracha maple syrup, steak and eggs with poblano pepper hash, and a slice of the restaurant’s famed 23 layer cake.

Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar: The Edgewater coffee shop Easter brunch will feature live entertainment from the Tom Lowery Trio. Easter specials will include a Bunny Hop latte and truffle deviled eggs. Bottomless mimosas are also available for $25. 

Siena Tavern: Chef Fabio Viviani will curate holiday-inspired dishes for all to enjoy on Easter Sunday. Guests will enjoy special dishes such as jumbo lump crab omelettes, olive oil lemon cake, and monkey bread. The restaurant’s signature a la carte brunch menu will also be served.

Batter & Berries: What better place for an Easter brunch than somewhere you can bring your own champagne? This BYOB favorite in Lincoln Park is famous for their French toast flight and colorful interior.
