Chicago CityPASS

Visiting Chicago and eager to see the sights, but on a budget? Then check out Chicago CityPASS! Celebrating 25 years, CityPASS works with some of the city’s most popular attractions to bundle significant admissions discounts into one easy-to-use ticket that allows visitors to see and do more. And Chicago CityPASS receives rave reviews — based on more than 12,000 customer reviews it has an average rating of 4.7 stars (out of a possible 5).

Shedd AquariumTicket options

Chicago CityPASS offers two ticket options. The original Chicago CityPASS ticket offers the best value and allows prepaid general admission to the city’s top five attractions. While the new Chicago C3 ticket is better suited to a shorter stay, such as a weekend getaway, and includes three attractions. Both ticket types are valid for nine consecutive days, starting with the first day of use.

Each Chicago CityPASS ticket includes admission to:

  • The Shedd Aquarium
  • Skydeck Chicago
  • Field Museum.

Visitors can choose the other two attractions they would like to see from a selection that includes:

  • The Art Institute of Chicago
  • Museum of Science and Industry
  • 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck
  • Adler Planetarium.

The Chicago C3 tickets includes admission to three attractions. Choose from:

  • The Shedd Aquarium
  • Skydeck Chicago
  • Art Institute of Chicago
  • Museum of Science and Industry
  • 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck
  • Shoreline Sightseeing Architecture River Tour
  • The Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier.

For both Chicago CityPASS and Chicago C3 tickets you can decide which attractions to visit after purchase and can see them in any order you like. There is no limit to how many different attractions you can visit in one day. Tickets are valid for one-time admission to each attraction, unless otherwise noted in each attraction’s admission details. Both Chicago CityPASS and Chicago C3 are available as mobile tickets delivered directly via email; the tickets can be saved to your smartphone or Apple Wallet.

Reservations

For both ticket types, reservations may be required at attractions. Guests can make reservations for some attractions directly through CityPASS, and for others, CityPASS provides instructions on how you can reserve a time directly with the attraction. CityPASS recommends making reservations as soon as possible to ensure that an attraction is not sold out on the day you plan to visit.

Once you’re ready to visit, depending on the attraction, you will either present your CityPASS ticket, your attraction reservation, or both. The CityPASS Travel Guide includes all the information you need, including how to make reservations, attractions details and maps, tips on using your tickets, and more.
